Launch of the Creating Value for All Report in Paraguay

Overview

The launch of the Creating Value for All report was organized in Asunción, Paraguay, on November 5, 2008, in collaboration with the AVINA Foundation and the local UN Global Compact network. The event gathered about 60 participants from various sectors, including representatives from the Network of Leaders for the National Competitiveness Agenda (Red de Líderes para la Agenda Nacional de Competitividad), the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the National Export Plan and Network for the Attraction of Investments (Plan Nacional de Exportación y Red de Atracción de Inversiones – REDIEX).

The Report has been highly valued by the participants and the concept of inclusive markets created positive expectations towards the setting up of partnerships in order to develop concrete projects. In that respect, a number of meetings with UNDP and local enterprises willing to develop inclusive business models have already taken place.
